多数人使用气压式避震器最主要的目的并非以舒适性为主,随时调整车身底盘的高低才是换装气压式避震器最主要的诉求。气压避震是用气囊来替代弹簧的减震作用,然后在使用控制系统给气囊充气,充气量愈多车身就上升愈高,反之则会让车身降低,所以气压避震主要的目的是控制高低,而避震功能还是以原本的弹簧、减震筒为主。气动避震器就是安装在汽车悬挂上的空气避震器,它利用橡胶气囊来代替原厂的弹簧,并通过控制器的控制来调节底盘的高度。这简单的一句话概括了气动避震系统的两大组成部分——一部分是悬挂,一部分是控制器。其中橡胶气囊避震器、气压控制系统、储气罐、电子控制系统、气泵、连接管路等必不可少的部件。
